This regulator a late 1958 DA Aquamaster, indicated by the presence of box clips on the can, instead of a ring and screw attachment. it does not have a serial number, meaning it is pre-1959.
The presence of a hookah port indicates it was manufactured late in the year.
To my knowledge, he regulator has never been serviced. The metal box clips (phased out in October 1958) securing the can show no tool marks that would indicate it has ever been opened.
The regulator works, however there is an internal leak and breaths hard. Not surprising for a 67 year old non-serviced regulator. There is no corrosion. The hoses are in fair condition with some cracking. It looks like a repair was made to the exhaust hose, which has a split near the can.The "Kleer E-Z" mouthpiece is in good condition. The non-return valves are intact, but worn. One of the Tinnerman hose clamps is broken. The label still has vestiges of blue paint.
The Model J-60 (501J) tank valve is dated 9/60.It has a dented nipple, so unless it is re-machined, it can only be used for display. The dent is shown in the pictures.
$250 includes US shipping, the regulator and the valve. Reasonable offers considered.
Shipped with insurance.
