I will be in and around Tennessee doing a bit of R&R travel.....any diving to be had in this state??

there are two quarries located between Chattanooga and Knoxville off I-75.
Loch Low Minn in Athens, TN and Philadelphia Quarry located closer to Knoxville. There are others but those are the two I'm more familiar with.

Temps at Loch-Low-Minn will be ~54* below the 30' thermocline.
They have paddle fish in the quarry at the Loch. They have long flat bills and are sort of prehistoric 1st cousins to sharks. They're starting to get quite large.
