PerroneFord:
I don't really do saltwater diving. Not many reefs here in cave country.

You've got to drive down to the Keys! It is such a beautiful microcosm of life on the reef. Perrone, really! You've got to see this.

I've seen the pictures. Looks really nice. Maybe one year...

Thalassamania:
You should try it sometime, it's kind of fun, especially when you go collecting little fishies at 400 fsw.

You couldn't pay me to go to 400ft to see a fish. Britannic yes, fish no.

#1 rated by who?

I didn't clink the link, but hovered over it. I see it heads to a Seadoo...

I thought you had gotten Silent Submersions DPV's or something.

Rated #1 by DSAT. You can read the report here:http://www.seascooter.net/

Those Silent Submersion DPVs are a very different animal than the SEA DOO VS Supercharged.
The VS is perfect for buzzing reefs and jetties and weighting only 18 lbs is great for shore entries. Understand, the VS isn't designed to bring you down to the Andria Doria.

But the Silent Submersons is. If your serious about a Silent Submersions let me know and I'll point you in the right direction. Considering their capability $4000.00 is actually a very reasonable price. You can check them out here:http://www.silent-submersion.com/

Your title didn't indicate who the rating was from. Hence my skepticism. Could have been rated #1 by Santa's elves...

I've already spoke to Ms. Dudas and Rodney on several occasions about carrying the SS at our shop. Logistics are a bit sticky for us unfortunately. I may buy one in a year and leave it at the shop for demo purposes.

Boy, lots of markup in those things!!!
Bought one from an LDS at cost who just wanted to get it out of stock . . . $150.

Not even close. My margins are slim to begin with-(without adding the SB special discounts)

The Dolphin(as seen here: http://subseasports.com/store/product94.html ) is the only one anywhere near that number
