What's wrong with it? It'll certainly count to 1000000 perfectly fine.

LOL....that's just it! Nothing wrong with it. It would probably crash the server. At least, I can only imagine that with the jump from 200,000 to 1,000,000 right away.

Sorry, where I work I have access to the source code to some of my DBMS. Occassionally I'll write a VBscript for a message box with a wonderful "Bi-expressional semi-conductor parity compromisation error", followed by a "click OK to delete all of your files and cancel to repair", with only an OK button. Keeps the users on their toes (although does bite me in the butt when I get a call at 8 in the morning with someone freaking out :D).

Sorry for the hijack :bonk:

Yeah...I imagine it wouldn't take too kindly to that

Now that is funny!

Sorry for the hijack :bonk:

I think hijacking was built into the design of this thread! :)

Programmers don't use goto's damn wannabes making my job harder

I know, I know. But that's all I could remember without looking it up.

Besides, that's what it looked like back when I first learned how to program.

As you can probably guess, its been awhile. I don't even remember COBOL, Fortran or Pascal anymore.
:D

Whoa! Haven't heard those languages in soooo long!! First college course was in Fortran. I think we are showing our age here. I'll add another old favorite - APL. Anyone remember that?

I do love programmers with a sense of humor!
