    History of Balanced Regulators?

    Hi, I am looking into the development of SCUBA regulator innovations and their history. Does anybody know the first brand or reg to offer or evolve to a balanced system? Otherwise some examples of older balanced regulators would be cool. Thank you.

    Early Air Fills?

    How did the early recreational scuba divers get their air fills? Where did they go? What did it cost? Were the fills safe? I'm hoping Sam Miller, and other scuba historians, see this and respond. Thanks. K
