I use EZ Scuba as my LDS. The instructor that trained me has 8000+ dives. I find everyone there very helpful and friendly. It is my understanding all of them are cave certified.
They are located just West of Veterans on Hillsborough Avenue.
This advice coming from a fellow newbie who went through swimmer's ear and a bad ear infection..
I'm now fighting off infection #2 actually.. :P It's my understanding that some newbie's ear drums that aren't used to equalizing(I live in florida and am a ground hugger) have more trouble...
I've been aching to "make a day of it" lol I'd prolly just bring a big steel 120 instead of two al80's tho..I don't mind walking a bit as long as I'm not around the corner.. lol
If my ear problems cease by tomorrow, I'll stop in at the LDS and pick up my dive gear to join you guys. If I can make it, I'll be in a white ford focus. I'll be wearing a ginnie springs hat at least until I'm geared up. And I'd be there at 8am as well.

I just did a twilight dive at VB this past Sunday. I found it a little spooky how fast the viz dropped when the sun went down, but it was really neat! I had a lot of fun and would really enjoy another night dive there. :)
