It's been a long time and I missed it. I was in Georgia, but now I'm in Birmingham. I just know there's got to be some Pelham Keys regulars in here that I could buddy up with! Hope to be more active on the board and meet up with some old buddies!

By golly...I think you may have something there. Should I have it surgically removed and frame it? What do you think I could get for it? I can keep taking pictures as it changes colors. No telling what will come out of it. I think I can see some kind of face just off center to the right.

Not a serious injury, so I'll post it here. Got this while trying to board the boat at the end of the dive when the ladder smashed into my leg in rough water. Lesson learned...

Bruise received while trying to board the boat at the Oriskany in rough water. The ladder came down and hit me in the leg. Lesson learned.

eewww. I think I'd rather be attacked by a turtle than crapped on by one. Your story is far worse than mine. And I still love them anyway.

See, that's why I like "no vis." You really get to play with your compass. I guess I like the challenge of that game where you have no visual markers to help you. Of course, that's not to say I've never gotten lost...but it's fun trying. It so weird when you're certain you must be going in...

For me, it's been something I've learned to enjoy the more I do it. I hated it at first. Sometimes where I dive almost weekly, you cannot see your buddy 5' away. You might catch a glimpse of a brightly-colored fin. I've just learned to go very slow and try to notice things that I can see...

Not sure when they started it. We (each person) has to e-mail them every week. The first time, you have to send a copy of your driver's license, your address, and phone numbers. After that, you have to e-mail them every week you want to dive there and ask permission. Then you also have to...

Things may have changed since you were last there Willard. You now have to get written permission any time you want to dive. I'll let you know next time we go, or you can PM me if you need instructions. At least two of us go just about every weekend.
