I'm sure you'll be happy with it. The Core is a great regulator - light, compact and robust, and breathes very well, as good as the Legend IMHO.

I’ve encountered it on a previous generation Vyper, and was told it was the pressure sensor. Unfortunately not fixable in my case.

Could be worse. My Aqualung was faulty before I ever dived it (wouldn’t charge) and 3 months later Aqualung HQ haven’t responded to the local distributor. And I’m not the only one, according to them.

You'd have to ask the individual school, most classes are 1:4 to 1:6. I suspect it would be around double. You may of course be lucky - my brother had 1:1 instruction for his AOW as he was the only one signed up that weekend.
