Note that I recently upgraded my halcyon head
with what's supposed to be a Archos wh16 head with a xhp50.2 LED, seems that from the choice of this guy who is pretty a great lamp knowledged guy its a good/present in the market/affordable choice.
But ignore more about the topic, am very...
Hey! am sure any or many of you guys have that in mind or in documentation somewhere! I have purchased and serviced many mk20 (got like 8 for me... and others) and was looking for more informations about years of constructions, changes of design and so on. History stuff and data related to...
Why do we want a minimum amount of space between the 2nd stage lever and diaphragm making us able to hear a bit of tapping before closing with the cover? I guess we want as little as we can but dont want any tension on the lever as well to avoid being close to freeflow. So why and how much? can...
To remove the cover: Sometimes it helps
hitting the side of the thread with a rubber hammer, anything that would unstuck the remains into the thread
soak in "hot" (temp <= 50C) water with 20% vinegar <= 20min.
I personnally have good experiences with Tribolube 71. Expensive but awesome and only a few into the thread is working well. Rincing and unscrewing regularly will help too...
Didnt find a dedicated topic yet. What are your thoughts about round vs oval Corrugated hoses?
Pros and cons, just wondering so far why not using all the time a round one, so far my understanding is bigger diameter, less resistance to the air passing through. Seems like the round ones are...
Did some other scuba material maintenance as regs and went well so far. Decided to get to Alu tanks which were thrown and not maintained since a loooong time, and probably filled with not that great air.
Will stay on non oxygen tanks, thinking about air only.
So after having the troubles with...
Hey guys, thx for your help, wanted to post a few pictures that would have helped me instead of words to build my own solution :)

Bought a coltri MCH6. Air filter was changed 1 year ago and used for a few minutes only. On the first fill of my tanks the air was wierd. Am waiting for a replacement cartidge, but takes it time to get here in south america :(.
Filling my tanks and specially after when turning off the...
@Curious_George thx for your uneducated guess! And I agree with you on that, but am looking for the sense of having to drain it every 10-15 minutes as well as the other one. In the manual they mention the drainage not in plural, but singular... see above.
I still do both, but for no other reason...
Am wondering why is there a valve on the filter and for what its designed as there is never moisture on mine there, nor water... anybody any clue on that?
No offense taken, had a great time reading the docs and RTFM was really not enough, any other documentation will be most welcome! am wondering though about the PMV as I dont have yet the compressor in front of me what is the adjustement procedure. The img is quite laconic for my understanding...
Hey all!
just acquired a year ~2000 coltri MCH-6 am wondering if you guys can help me building up for all people (and our children ;)) a list of does and dont with your own compressor! Maybe there are some stuff which are brand/model specific and others which are general. Beyond the famous RTFM...
my experience is you have to push the knob to adjust, but nothing terrible on that... depending if its for your use or if you plan to do 20/day... if you like pretty and awesome tools, I'd probably buy the other, but nothing worthing the price difference for me doing a few regs/year
