    Dry suit recommendatiom Ireland

Very interesting, I'm torn between a bag suit and neoprene. I've never had any issues with my last neoprene suit. Got ten years out of the northern diver RBX II no issues at all. But the bag does have an appeal as it looks a bit more comfortable.

I've never had a telescoping toro, what are the pros and cons? I don't plan to get any shorter so not sure if I would need to adjust it much.

    Dry suit recommendatiom Ireland

Yeah they seem to be quite well received and I know the guys in the defence forces rate them. They don't do front entry laminate / bag suits though. I'm still torn between another neoprene back entry suit and a decent bag suit.

    Dry suit recommendatiom Ireland

As any Irish diver is probably aware we're very limited in what is available in terms of dive shops to try on suits. I'm in the market for a new dry suit. I'm currently using a northern diver neoprene RBX II. Which has been brilliant but is reaching the point where I'll need to start putting...

Floaty feet. Dry suit boot inversion.

Interesting sentiments but not sure how any of that would apply to my question?

Floaty feet. Dry suit boot inversion.

That valve is genius! Does it ever accidentally vent when kicking? I wear ankle weights but never liked them when finning. Particularly after compression they can go loose and flop around.

Floaty feet. Dry suit boot inversion.

Yes, I've been hanging vertical and venting all air from suit on the ascent. Drills have worked well enough (regular knee tucks and vents etc) in that it's only happened 3 times in last 2 years. But I want to try avoid it completely by changing my set up. Ref second part. I hugely appreciate...

Floaty feet. Dry suit boot inversion.

So I've had about 3 floaty boot incidents in last 2 years. After first incident I bought ankle weights, second time I put it down to bad drills, but third time means action! So I need to do something about it after last incident at a safety stop had me looking silly doing some inverted...

Irish diver, new to the forum

Hi all, New kid here. I've done most of my diving in warm waters around SE Asia, Red Sea and Mediterranean. Only in the last 2 years have I returned to diving in the somewhat chillier Irish waters. Currently Toying with going down the TEC route eventually, as I want to dive the many wrecks...
