I used to get headaches like you do and research pretty much confirmed it was co2 driven. All it took was adding a couple of pounds of lead and actually using the bcd for bouyancy rather than never adding any air to it. Probably a thousand dives since without a headache.
My wife was certified some 20 years ago in cozumel. She never would have tried diving had some female instructer in a hut not talked her into it. She has never had an issue with the depths or the current. If she can do it anyone can. We have now been diving 2x a year for 2 weeks in the...
I have less of an issue with the taxi’s than I do with secrets/aura charging me $10 apiece to use their pier for diving pickup by outside diving operations.
My roughly 100 dive hydros looks pretty much like yours. I'll have to keep an eye on it now, but to me it just looks like the cut from the female attachment piece. I don't think mine has the small fraying yours shows. I dont put much weight back there and only use about half of my dives.
Thanks, I tried searching and this thread was all I could find. The tool looks like what I expected, I thought I was going to have to make my own but might be easier to just buy it. The miflex hose is what I was hoping to use.
I am trying to disassemble my wisdom quick disconnect in an attempt to replace a leaking hose and not spend the exorbinant amount of money that sherwood wants. Can any one enlighten me as to how it comes apart? It seems others have done it but I dont want to wreck it in the process.
Thanks for...
Mine is going on 5 days since I charged it and is now at 65%. Its going diving again in 2 weeks so probably not enough time to have it replaced before trip. At least I can charge it every night and hope it last for 3 hours of diving each day.
I got my teric in december 2019. I don't think I have had any problems until recently the battery was down to 20% after last being fully charged 45 days ago. I am doing the battery test as outlined above to see what happens. Maybe I have been one of the luckier ones. I hadn't seen this...
I am curious as to what the "camera extortion scam" is also. My friend had his extorted by the tsa when he flew back last spring from cozumel and it has not been recovered.
My wife’s Luna strap just broke here in Cozumel after probably 8 years and 400 dives. Was sure hoping it would last longer than this. Any recommendations for a small female that isn’t a Sherwood product?
