Oceanic Versa Pro, any reason not to buy this computer?

I agree with Dueces. Got one for the wife and its a good unit. No problems thus far and its pretty intuitive. Oceanic has an upgraded software program I highly recommend downloading from their website. Make a load of difference from the original version...$319 sound like a good price too...

    Semi-Dry Suit Advice

Larry at Scubatoys has Oceanics' Farrallon 7mm semidry suit on special for only $149.00. I bought one end of last year and absolutely love it. Keeps me warm down to about 50* and is a great suit. Well made and very comfortable. IMHO one of the best suits for the money hands down.;)

    Rinsing a BCD

I routinely take the inflator hose off my BCD's and fill the bladder with fresh water with no problems. Saves a lot of time vs. filling by the inflator mouthpiece, not too mention a more complete rinse and I seem to get more water out of the bladder when I rinse and drain. Never had any problems...

    Which steel tank to get

Hey Carl, Did it come with a Vip sticker? What's the current hydro/man date? I've seen variances in the hot dip finish from summer '05 to Dec '05 too. The later versions seem to have a "shinier" galvanized finsih...:06: I was looking at divesales site as well. I've ordered a couple steels from...

    Back Inflate BC vs. BP/W

I currently own a DSS single rig BP/W with a hog harness. You can get it with a pro-fit harness if you have some flexibiltiy issues. I love this thing. It is easier to achieve a horizontal position underwater which will probably become even better once I distribute some weight from my weight...

    SP mk25 vs. mk17

I have the MK25/S600 with an R390 octo for my primary setup and really like it. I also have a MK25/550 and MK20/550, with the R380/390 octos as my backups. They are relatively easy to service and good regs. Easy to get parts for. Can't comment on the MK17 though as this is a "new" first stage...
