Good day all! I am considering a first time trip to Fiji with a friend at the beginning of June. We would like to stay in one dive resort/operation for a week then do about 3 days of land/cultural tours afterwards. So I have a couple of questions.
Can you recommend a resort that offers both...
I have just spent a frustrating 20 minutes trying to post a question in regards to Fiji and the current situation of coral bleaching in that area. I did not see anything on this subject when I did a search on Fiji. I have posted before on your wonderful site but I just cannot find the link to...
In my decades of diving I have found it rare for a moray to even approach-- EXCEPT for the Maldives where they were ferocious! I got bit twice on my hand by the same one and others had nips at their wetsuits and gloves!
Hello From Panama,
Has anyone been to this resort before and can give a short dive report? I would like to go in April or early May.
Is the diving/ viz good there then?
How about the winds and water temperatures there at this time?
Thank u ALL for the info... During Hurricane season I will not book but maybe in November or early December I can go. I guess the waters cool off then but hopefully I will find some spot that the waters are above 80. I spoiled here in Panama with the nice warm waters :)
The SHARKINESS is what in LOVE and what I am used to diving here when in Coiba NP! Just called an 800 number for
port of Call but the woman could not give me a package. I thought it was the hotels number. Will look and find the direct number or will write them- mañana
thank u!
Thank you! That is the big question for all the Caribbean dive areas... How did they fair after the hurricanes? The reefs don't regrow in a year. They take time.
Have been to Roatan 4 years ago and enjoyed the small life and vibrant reefs. Would like to dive a new place.... So I wonder how...
Thanks for the report on T and C... I may look into it as I just scratched off Cozumel... If you like sharks dive Palau-- many sharks and on every dive. First Shark Sanctuary in the world. We also have many white tips here in Coiba, Panama.
