The DGX wing is standard 11” bolt holes. Same as the Dive Rite travel wing.

    Jupiter/Palm Beach Diving...

That is a good time frame. During the Winter we get rough seas which seem to know I am off on the weekends. Haha. Late Summer is Hurricane season but they don’t always come. You should have good seas and great viz with turtles, sharks and the usual goliath here and there. In May water breaks...

    Jupiter water temp in May

Blue Heron was 79 yesterday. I Just looked at my logbook from last year. It was 80-81 deg off shore in Jupiter. Either way I dive a 3 mil year round 1, because I don’t get cold easily and 2, because I think >3mil can be a buoyancy nightmare and some people have to overweight themselves to get...

    ScubaBoard FallFest MegaDive 2018

The chemlights that could be reached were cleaned out already. The sky isn’t falling but we can do a better job. Breaking and straining the fluid and glass outside the spring is the way to go. I am even looking for a way to buy the chemicals bulk to keep from even having to buy and then discard...

    ScubaBoard FallFest MegaDive 2018

That group doesn’t take chem lights. They take the strained juice. No glass and no plastic.

    ScubaBoard FallFest MegaDive 2018

Sunday morning there were chemlights all over the ceiling and tiny peices of glass everywhere. They weren’t there Saturday afternoon.

    Ocala FL freshwater recommendations?

No one seems to talk about it but Lake George/Silver Glenn Springs is just to the East.. I don't care much for fresh water but there are some youtube videos of people diving there. Not sure if it is exciting, but if you just want to get wet it may be an option if diving is allowed. No personal...

    Minimal Possibly DIR-like Setup

So some people use a pad or a simple peice of fabric over the plate but remember that is surface mentality. Most do not. The plate is actually very comfortable in the water and to me it is also comfortable on land. I usually shuffle 10' off the back of a boat so no big deal. I have walked a...

    Minimal Possibly DIR-like Setup

That is soft too. You just need to figure out if you want DIR or not. DIR is a backplate and continuous webbed harness and a crotch strap. Anything else is not DIR. Just depends on what you want. You won't need or want any adjustment once it is fitted to you. I dive DIR gear but I am just a...

    Minimal Possibly DIR-like Setup

    Only the transpac is soft.

    Minimal Possibly DIR-like Setup

If you want DIR than the transpac and DGX OMS are out of the question. If you have an LDS I would try to support them but the DGX Custom - DGX Singles Harness / Backplate / Wing Package is the cheapest/best option if you want to get into DIR and aren't sure. Halcyon is good if you want to drop...

In orlando anyone want to dive in jupiter on friday

Go on the Kyalami www.jupiterscubadiving.com All of the dive boats are okay but the customer service on the Kyalami is above the rest and it costs the same. They will lend you a safety sausage once you are on the boat. You can stick with the dive master and follow the ledges.
