Yes, personally I feel that it compresses less at depth and the quality is just different from my cheap wetsuit. I can't describe it well enough, maybe @cerich can explain it better. I understand it can also be because the wetsuit is still new, hence compressing lesser.
I am pretty sure the Deep6 wing will fit. The grommets line up well and you shouldn't have any issues with the cam bands as well. So far I've had luck with Donut-Shaped wings, except for the Tecline Peanut. Although the grommets lined up, I was not able to trace the cam bands properly as it did...
Personally, for my fiancee and I, it almost feels like it isn't there. The medium is relatively short compared to mainstream BPs out there, so it doesn't even go close to your waist.
On places where the neoprene is joint, the threads are covered with a seal that prevents the entry of water via the seams. That translates to a higher degree of warmth.

From reviews, I'm pretty sure you're much better off with the GP7 for videos. The TG5 has terrible battery life for 4k videos or any video taking for that matter.
Beware of biased "advices". The Deep Six will be back in stock soon and there will be a black friday sale. Might be worth waiting out a bit since the Apeks wouldn't run away if you decide not to get it.
