    Servicing an XDeep wing

You have a couple options I think you can try. Vinegar, mouth wash, or I personally if it was bad go with something like Steramine. After its all clean, inflate the BCD and see if it holds air. you could also submerge the inflated wing and see if any bubbles com out.

    Avelo system review

Curious what was your starting pressure in your tanks. Before loading ballast. Also point of contention you do have a bcd as part of avelo. It's built into your tank and uses the entirety of your breathing gas but it is a buoyancy control device.

    Equipment help

Hi, You are entering a very overwhelming world. And honestly this is a situation where you want to discuss specifics with your son before you lay down the credit card. And making it a surprise might not go over great. The general advice you will get here is skip a traditional bcd and get...

    Sea sickness tablets or device

I have been playing with the boarding glasses and so far they seem to work as well as meclizine but not as good as scoplomine. They have a bonus that they seem to work after you get seasick which is very different from the medicine.

    Quick question, please answer.

If I understand your question right. I use a standard k power inflator. They last a few years or a few hundred dives and are easy and cheap to replace. You can rebuild them but I don't think it's worth the effort. And they are easy enough to replace you can keep one in your save a dive...

Is this possible 3 dives after having equipment serviced????

Also what bcd? This ordeal seems a little much to replace a $20 inflator that takes 15 minutes at home the first time.

    Question Shearwater Perdix compass lag

Perdix or perdix 2? I noticed the compass on the 2 feels way nicer than the original.

    Sea sickness tablets or device

Has anyone tried the glasses? The electronic wrist bands have helped me too. The ones that take a battery. But what has helped the most is the scoplomine patches for sure.

Can anyone ID this loop hose clamp?

Not an expert in anyway but it sort of looks like the seat post clamp from a bicycle. Like this? https://a.co/d/2aUGydW

does an 18650 light with magnetic charger and multiple levels exist?

So I found a dive light with a magnetic charger, so there goes your theory that they can't work. Mk1 Torch if shipping wasn't such a disaster from that UK store I would look to try one. But if someone has one does the info posted above ring true? has anyone seen galvanic corrosion...

does an 18650 light with magnetic charger and multiple levels exist?

1000 lumens would be more than enough. I just wanted to give a range. and a magnetic charger would allow charging without breaking a seal in a damp environment.

does an 18650 light with magnetic charger and multiple levels exist?

I was wondering if anyone knows of a dive light that runs an 18650 battery, has a magnetic charging system and has a high of like 1000-2000 and a low of around 500-600 lumens? something similar to this Warrior X? but in dive light form.

    Reel and SMB Storage

A handle? most of the setups I see, including my own use a finger spool to deploy the SMB instead of a full blow reel. Ratchet Reels from Kent Tooling Diving Products At which point you use a double ended clip to secure the line back to the spool, and in your case the spool is connected to...

    Dive Boat Etiquette

The Spiegel grove is not a basic dive, and not really great for new divers anyway. the depth ranges from 80 to 130 feet, and the current can be heavy. waiting at the surface for this dive is not a great idea on a lot of days. Spiegel Grove Personally you should have asked to get past the...

Article: Dive Computers and the Magic Bracelet Syndrome

Wow, you could replace the word computer with table in this article and it would still mostly be right minus the part about understanding what your computer tells you. I don't know any diver recreational or technical that knows what is going on with their NDL's, or decompression requierments...

Is the BP/W really the best BCD for recreational divers?

I am a pure recreational Backplate diver, and your points are nonsense. -As a FL diver, who dives sometimes in a 3 sometimes in a bathing suit I have never had to change my webbings sizing. (however if that is really an issue Dive Rite makes their delux harness, and Halcyon makes their "Cinch...
