does an 18650 light with magnetic charger and multiple levels exist?

So I found a dive light with a magnetic charger, so there goes your theory that they can't work. Mk1 Torch if shipping wasn't such a disaster from that UK store I would look to try one. But if someone has one does the info posted above ring true? has anyone seen galvanic corrosion...

does an 18650 light with magnetic charger and multiple levels exist?

1000 lumens would be more than enough. I just wanted to give a range. and a magnetic charger would allow charging without breaking a seal in a damp environment.

does an 18650 light with magnetic charger and multiple levels exist?

I was wondering if anyone knows of a dive light that runs an 18650 battery, has a magnetic charging system and has a high of like 1000-2000 and a low of around 500-600 lumens? something similar to this Warrior X? but in dive light form.

    Reel and SMB Storage

A handle? most of the setups I see, including my own use a finger spool to deploy the SMB instead of a full blow reel. Ratchet Reels from Kent Tooling Diving Products At which point you use a double ended clip to secure the line back to the spool, and in your case the spool is connected to...

    Dive Boat Etiquette

The Spiegel grove is not a basic dive, and not really great for new divers anyway. the depth ranges from 80 to 130 feet, and the current can be heavy. waiting at the surface for this dive is not a great idea on a lot of days. Spiegel Grove Personally you should have asked to get past the...

Article: Dive Computers and the Magic Bracelet Syndrome

Wow, you could replace the word computer with table in this article and it would still mostly be right minus the part about understanding what your computer tells you. I don't know any diver recreational or technical that knows what is going on with their NDL's, or decompression requierments...

Is the BP/W really the best BCD for recreational divers?

I am a pure recreational Backplate diver, and your points are nonsense. -As a FL diver, who dives sometimes in a 3 sometimes in a bathing suit I have never had to change my webbings sizing. (however if that is really an issue Dive Rite makes their delux harness, and Halcyon makes their "Cinch...

Oceanic Excursion II vs AquaLing Demension i3

A back plate and wing (BP/W) is a type of modular BCD that is very popular on Scubaboard. And is always recommended in these kinds of threads.

You can add weight pockets to a BP/W. They are fully customizable :)

Do you physically release your buddy's weights during the buddy check?

Really you propose for a person to sit on the ground, get into their bc, and somehow lift it, with tank, and weights. That is a great way to get a back injury. Try getting your buddy to help, or try something like this: How to Put on a backpack properly « Hiking I see you have never touched a...

    KnightHawk BCD

As for the crotch strap. I never used one on my ranger. just make sure the cummerbund is snug. it may help if you find the bc floating up on you, but I don't see it helping with the face planting. Also once you figure out the lean, it is the most relaxing way to wait for the boat :D

Oceanic Excursion II vs AquaLing Demension i3

The i3 looks like a really awesome tech. Just remember if you go that route that you and your dive buddy should practice your skills with it. including manually inflating your bladder. It is different enough that you don't want to have to figure that stuff out on the fly. Also in before a...
