I already have an AP DSMB that's powered by a crack bottle, the bottle is getting old and should be replaced, I'd like to replace it with a CO2 powered one.

Why is it I'm having a great deal of difficulty finding a retailer to sell me a CO2 powered DSMB? I can find some limited info from the UK but nothing from North America, are they illegal? I'd be grateful if someone could shed some light on this.

Gotta say your probably right. Diving the SMS 75 with steels is a joy, with alu, not so much. I have come across many obstacles when self training sidemount, yet I doubt taking a sidemount course with my local shop would have helped. Maybe if I could have taken a course directly from Hollis it...
