I was diving in Utila Honduras Caribbean where the water temperature was 85f the 10 days I was there and I wore a 1.5 mm and warm sometimes but most of the time it was perfect. I guess I'm also trying to find out what the average water temperatures are between November 15 through December 15

My checked bag holds, my regulator, bcd, mask, fins, boots, 1.5mm funding box, 2 and clothes. It weighted 47lbs. The bag weights 8lbs. The backpack is lighter and with some old compression sacks over the gear and stocking over the fins everything slides in easy with room to spare. I'm excited...

Never thought of plastic wrap great idea... I have a cover bag that goes over the top of the straps... But other than that, if the pack can hold my gear I'm good to go! The problem I'm having is my bcd knife and my line cutter... They have to be checked.

Has anyone ever used a regular hiking backpack to haul gear... I'm going to be traveling in the Philippines for a month. It just seems easier than carrying a bag and a roller luggage bag with all my gear. Plus it seems easier to get around and people would see me as a budget backer vs a diver...

I've got 30 days to dive Where in the world is the best diving in November? I want to spit the trip up with a liveaboard 10, 20 days then the rest of the time on an island relaxing, boat and possibly shore dives... Any suggestions?

Mac's are sweet... But there not durable, I'd be afraid I'd bust it on my trips. Is loveno a tough computer. I'm looking for a computer that can take the bumps and grinds for hard travel, light weight, about 15"
