I dove yesterday and it was very nice. There were two others going east I went west. When I finished up there was a small group in the beach area. Vis was 40ft. Saw fugona's in three different places, a manatee, and the friendly squid were there.
The common name of the anemone is red warty. I have seen them at BHB but they are much more common at the three bridges closest to the inlet in Jupiter. Two kinds there, purplish rings like yours and orange stripe. Size range from just hatched to the size of a baseball. Sometimes out in the open...
If the viz is good Cato's is a fun little dive. I wouldn't try it unless high is early enough to get one of those 9 spots before 8:30 or 9 am. The only area of interest is under the bridge itself (north and south is sand). Till slack comes the current can be strong. You can get behind the bridge...
Hope you can fix it. I'd like to see the photos or video you took.
I was there a couple weeks ago with Kevin of Underwater Explorers had a great time but the camera flooded after a couple crappy pics.
Got there at 10 and jumped in at 11 and had a nice time. No trouble parking and beat the crowd. The sheriffs have a bunch of spots blocked off for them so if you're thinking tomorrow or Monday be early.
Saturday would be your best shot. 12:38 hightide if you're there a couple hours early you shouldn't have any trouble parking. Sunday you'll want to be there at about the same time with more of a wait. As many divers who will be there this weekend believe it or not it does thin out and you can...
I was there and I said it before. The kid did nothing wrong. Photographer was there for more than a little while. The alley is a hot spot on the westside and if you're going to park there for a while you have to expect other divers coming through. It's not the photog harping it's others.
