    Analyzer Storage

Given that it's a consumable, I'd still like to store it properly to both safeguard the device, in addition to prolonging the life of the sensor. I realized an additional question based off your response Tbar, would be, "how does one know when the sensor is degraded to where it should be...

    GUE Interested or Curious?

Hello all, For those that have not had the opportunity, diving with Cyprian, his son Nick, and the other GUE / DIR divers is a real pleasure. I dive wet and a single, and have never felt or been marginalized in any way due to lack of certain equipment. If you've the slightest interest in...

    Scuba Eye Exam?

Hi Steve, I had not a lot of luck with the stickons, having tried a few. What works for me is to use one daily disposable in a single eye. The uncorrected is for reading the computer and corrected for distance. Let me know if you ever need a buddy for CSSP or Murray.

Hi Oz, Thanks for posting the question as I am in a similar situation; well somewhat. I'll be travelling to Orlando fairly frequently on business, and intend to to schedule over weekends from time to time simply to get some diving in. So, thank you to all the responded to Oz's OP. Although not...

    Eyes, don't fail me now

Hello All, I've set an appointment with the optometrist for the purpose of getting fitted for bifocal contacts. I'm not sure why I was so resistant to this solution as I use single plane contacts when riding bike, swimming laps in a pool (Walter Mitty type triathlete), and riding motorcycle...

    Eyes, don't fail me now

Great point. At this time, I am going to try a few alternative solutions prior to purchasing specialty lens. This decision is based primarily not wanting to change out the factory glass or otherwise altering my current masks. There is something about that German glass that is hard to beat...

    Eyes, don't fail me now

I use contacts when diving already, but may go to just one. Unfortunately my vision has deteriorated to the point where correction is required in both eyes for sharp vision.

    Eyes, don't fail me now

Thanks all for your insight. Yeah, I know, a pad pun. Like you didn't see that coming. Ok, I'll stop it. Seriously, thank you for your advice, suggestions and recommendations. I believe I may try the glue method with either commercially available products, or silicon a lens from a pair of...

    Article: Scuba Shoulders

Thank you for a well written informative and thorough article. The timeliness could not have been better for me as I revise my training to be more specific towards diving and also cycling. Perhaps I am stating the obvious, but it becomes critically important to combine not only the trifecta of...

Texas Dive Show 2013 - Who is going?

Agreed. Not sure if it was worth the gas, time, and money. Nice to meet a few reps of the local dive clubs, but nothing I couldn't have done on my own. Perhaps if the classes had more room, I'd have a different opinion.

    A bad dive

Glad you are safe and able to dive again. As a diver who has been certified for decades, but just returning to the sport (loving it by the way), I read the posts by all of you experienced divers to be both entertained and learn. I appreciate you sharing your experience along with the follow-up...
