Tom, FogTech also comes in a bottle that is more cost effective and reduces waste too. Holds 30 ml and good for about 40 applications. The bottle is packaged inside a heavy duty ziplock baggie with two soft cotton applicators that are vinyl backed to conserve the solution. The soft cotton is...

Tom, thank you for your early reports too. I also got an updates MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) from my supplier. The anti-fog ingredient if placed in concentrated form directly into the eye, will "cause an oil film" that briefly interferes with vision . But it is not irritating.

Good question. I have been told by the distributor that the surfactant in FogTech is used in shampoos and skin lotions. While it is classified as an eye irritant, they told me the molecule is so large that they would be surprised if it bothered anyone. So, I became a test gerbil. I applied...

how do you keep your mask from fogging up?

I assume you glue your favorite snack to your nose to get the juices flowing? I have studied this a bit with some fairly good tests. I believe it is hard for many of us to pinpoint one cause or a single cure for fogging because of all the variables. The weather, water temp, how much someone...

Full disclosure: We make an anti-fog called FogTech. I know there are a lot of anti-fogs for diving out there. Some work, some don't and some don't work for long. There are also a lot of home brews such as toothpaste, baby shampoo, spit, shark snot (kidding). Our product has not been...

    it keeps fogging..and fogging......

As the board's resident expert (lol) on fogging: Bebo, most defoggers act by reducing the surface tension of water. Surface tension is what causes water to bead up on surfaces into droplets. Those droplets act like miniature prisms and scatter light randomly and voila! you get that white...
