I bought my integrated BC (Zegle Zena) after the first 2 pool classes for my OW cert. The weight belt couldn't/didn't hang right on me (I'm short waisted) and caused me a great bit of pain where the weights sat on my hips because I have fibromyalgia. Once I got the weight directly off my hips...
Pete,
I know the above was an older post, but I also wanted to thank you for the info on this. I am so happy to know that we can incorporate SCUBA into his Scouting now instead of 1 1/2 years from now!!!

Thank you so much for posting that. My 12 yr old is about to start his certification classes here locally and we knew that BSA had a 14 yr old limit attched to SCUBA but weren't sure how tight the restrictions were.

Not that I am rushing anyone (seeing as how is it summer and surface intervals are few and far between), but is there an ETA on the site branching out past the Keys? I'd be more than happy to help with what little information I might have on what few dive sites/operations I have gone with.
I wear my 2 piece 3 mil. But then again Iwear that on every dive until I get a skin!!
But truth be told, it is still the time to use that suit.

I don't know how many people there are out there on the board who want to represent thier Dive Clubs, but maybe we could have a sub forum for that. I have been wanting to put the word out about ours here but haven't yet because I didn't want to get flamed about "advertising".
If there...

I'm quite partial to the straight baby shampoo. Although not as cheap as your own spit, much cheaper than the commercial anti-fog stuff and works much better. Not to mention smells much better too!!!
