Part of the appeal for me was the ease of getting kits to rebuild. I also know a guy in my dive club who is a certified technician and will rebuild for me for a small fee. I too have heard DRI is a very reliable business capable of servicing HOGS without gouging you in the process.

It is my understanding that HOG regs are very similar to Apeks (a UK company). I have read here on many occasions that the internals are strikingly similar and any LDS that services Apeks can service HOG.

I have a HOG and it is phenomenal. Very inexpensive too. Like pirates said you can service them yourself or, from what I have read here, they are inexpensive to have serviced.

I don't know if it would work or not, but you might try putting something that is large enough to stretch the pocket out a little. I don't know if they are rubber or plastic. It might be worth a try. I figure I have a 50/50 chance at being a genius or an idiot on this one.
