I run the Light Monkey Pitkin controller on a separate can from my light. No problems with two canisters on my harness, but it is bulky.
You can buy a dual battery pack with two cords but I like the having each in a separate pack as it makes mixing and matching easier.

You can’t go wrong with either Hunts or Blue Foot. Really, I’d make the decision on who is running to where you want to go on any particular day.

I upgraded from the Tektite strobe to a Light Monkey one but a lot of the people I dive with have switched to the Trojan ones.
I find the fancier ones to be brighter than the Tektite strobes but certainly not a necessity.
Gunrock beach is a nice dive, parking is tough though. Just follow the rock jetty out and back.

Yes. I have an assortment of DST’s and DS4’s mated with TX, ATX and XTX seconds that I use for my deco regs and bailouts. I clean all my regs the same and don’t put specific regs on specific bottles. One day a reg might be on a 32% bottle and the following weekend it might be on a 100% bottle.
As others have mentioned, the price is the same wherever you go so I’d see if there is a dealer close to you.
If you do order online, I’d recommend Extreme Exposure as well. They have the added bonus of being around the corner from the factory so if there is something out of stock it’s easy to get.
Like many others, I got a dummy key made that doesn’t have any electronics. I also have a dryfob that I use for traveling when renting a car. If you can’t get a dummy key made, the DryFob is the way to go.
