The water will pick up the lime in it and if you roll around it's possible to get it up to the mouthpiece? Dripping wet lime I would assume would loose scrubbing effectiveness, hypercapnia risk. Also the water can get on the o2 sensors and render those ineffective. Bail out.

When it comes to bcd/wing inflators would it be better if the button was two half circles, each was a separate valve and you had to push em both down to inflate? Redundancy if you will? Or would same issues persist?
