I use Miflex for my backup and wing inflation hoses. Rubber for HP and 7'. I also played with Miflex for 40" stage LP hoses, but it was too floaty, so back to rubber for them too.

That also appears to be the first-generation hinge design. After reports of fin breakage, (typically during giant strides), Scubapro redesigned the hinge to be tougher. The new hinge is reportedly a lot stronger. It sure looks stronger.
