It depends, both have their strengths and weaknesses! North has some very nice wrecks but visibility is not so good, south has everything but dives are much deeper... Best would be to check both :-) - but you'll need more than 1 week for that :) if you are staying for only 1 week I think you...

You'll need a long knife if the shark you are killing is fat!!!! Penetration is very important with sharks... :D For everything else just get a small and sharp knife... (after all it's not all about length)

Gimp is a great program once you get used to its interface (everything is on right click or its main screen)... Don't forget to check its web site for plugins, scripts and extras... (also free) btw. I believe 2.4 was released recently.... I use ufraw plugin for RAW conversion....
