Ahhh. So finning is illegal here in the US... But not in the Bahamas... Thus fins are imported.

I was there on Tuesday and got chilly. Water temp east side was 74-75°. Heard on Wednesday vis sucked, but cleared up on Thursday to the 30+ ft. range.

Generally I go further south. But to keep in line with this thread..
Deerfield beach, North of pier. Shallow, sometimes lots of turtles. South of pier near the end of the parking. It changes all the time...
ya'll are talking boat diving. Broward County also has some pretty decent beach diving as well. Now some may digress the health or color of the corals on beach dives, however, for the price of a tank of air and paid parking, it's worth a mention.
About 15 years ago I picked up a bunch of brass snaps on clearance from HD. Everyone told me I was wasting my money. I figured for $1 each, I could take a chance, and picked up a dozen or so. Still all are working great. Mainly salt water use, a fresh water rinse and I'm good to go!

1. Late afternoon high tides means you'll probably be getting out in the dark 🥶 🥶
2. It's a bit chilly. Saturday morning temps are in the falling iguana range
