Marriott in Curacao or Aruba need dive operator

As for Aruba, I have used JADS twice. They will pick you up and dorp you back at your hotel. Great dive boat and crew, and the dive masters are some of the best I have ever used.

    Just curious

The Wife and I take two dive trips a year, one is always Cozumel. :D We have found our money goes much further in Mexico, and Cozumel has some of the best of Mexico dive sites.

    Out Of Air

There lots of advice or points of view on Scubaboard (notice I didn’t qualify them as great, good or bad) Good divers continue to learn, and never be afraid to ask that “Stupid question”. It’s only stupid if you don’t ask it. Like most things in life, “The...

    Good Buddies…Gone Bad

I have to thank everyone for their inputs. We are going to sit down with them and discuss some issues (Before they have too many drinks), and see where the conversation goes. They only want to dive in Cozumel with the same dive master, because everywhere else they have tried to dive, in...

    Advise for Rescue Diver Course

I am sorry for the delay in responding to this thread. As I stated, My wife was over thinking the OOA tasks, but with all your pointers she did fine. Looking back at the course, she actually admits she love the course, and says it’s the best of ALL the courses we have taken. :D...

    Good Buddies…Gone Bad

I understand we all “dive differently”, these differences can be related to physical, experience, and knowledge factors. What prompted me starting this thread was, my Wife and I had discussed our dismay with the other couple and our frustration with their diving, and yes we did...

    Anyone tried these new fins?

They work great in the water, but are a bit of an issue on the boat.... They keep punching holes in the deck.

    Good Buddies…Gone Bad

I think one of the best complements we divers can give another diver is… “I would dive with you anytime!” :D

    Good Buddies…Gone Bad

My Wife and I have been diving with another couple for some time. They got their OW certification during a Cruise, we went through a LDS and have continues learning and are now Master Divers and the other couple haven’t taken any additional training, or felt they needed to. They aren’t good...

    Diving in Cozumel

I have used Chucho Divers, for both Cruise stop diving and extended (10 day) Cozumel trips. Chucho does use fast boats and on a normal day, can get three dives in and back to the boat before they depart. I found "Chucho Dives" through "Dive with Allison", they both have web sites and pricing...

    at what point are you..

Kingpatzer, Doppler, and DiverMasterDennis all have great points. :) What it boils down to is something I read or heard somewhere, “A good diver, continues to learn” I think we are no long beginners when “We start to realize WHO We DON’T what to dive with”

    Securing backup light.

I use a product called “snap-clip”, its clips closed and holds whatever I attach to it, about 8 inches from the BC. When it’s unclipped it will extend the bungee. Depending on what you are planning to use it for there are a few different lengths. I love it for my Camera...

    Where to Get Equipment

I will not proliferate the warranty coverage issues from now on. The point I was trying to make was…. Shop around, and being able to check the form and fit at the LDS is a great advantage.
