I have an Aladin AirZ O2. Tried several things to connect it to the Mac (pre-intels). There is a German guy who developed an interface and some software but unless you are an electronic freak building your own stuff soldering this together..... I ran VPC 7 and data trak with a seriell to USB...

the goldcore is toasty warm. once you are wet, its hard to put it on. dry, no problem.

I also own both. I think they are well worth the money.

Yaeh... I am still good with the battery so right now it's not an issue for me. When it comes to the point that the battery has to be replaced, I will certainly give them a call and hope for the best.

I totally agree! There is awesome diving. Vis can be a hit or miss.

I love the UWATEC Air Z. Unfortunately, I also will be faced with the battery issue once mine drains from it's current 70% level. This will hopefully in a couple of years from now and MAYBE a miracle will happen and ScubaPro/Uwatec give up on their anti-consumer policy by then. Hey, PADI...

I agree with the previous post. I did a liveaboard with plenty of dives in various depths and was glad that I brought my 5 mm.

Never had any problems having my gear serviced at my LDS no matter where I purchased it. LP also offers service and they are not too bad. Just in case you you have trouble with your LDS.

I use an Aladin Air O2 and a VR3 with gauge.
