    Boat Diving by Myself?

I've only been on one boat dive, and I got buddied up with another single diver. Luckily, he had a lot more experience and turned out to be a good diver. I learned a few things, and made sure we where always aware of each others location and status during the dives. We exchanged contact info...

    Where to start??......U/W Photography

I didnt want to start a street brawl over this... LOL ;) Good info so far. I do have a few questions though (even though I could probably research them myself on the new..) -Are there digital cameras that are purpose built for u/w use? -If so, how much does a normal one cost? (read -...

    What would you have done?...

Thanks for all your input so far. I am definitely not eating myself up over this incident, just going over my options and how I could react better if there is a next time, or similar incident. I honestly think that at least checking on my buddy first, just to make sure that he was OK and under...

Holy cow, I've just been certified!!!

Good job on your OW!! Its a lot different when you can see more than 2 feet in front of your face eh? I still have not had the opportunity to do any salt water dives, only fresh water wreck dives... I am still hooked! :snorkel: Dive Safe! Erich

    What would you have done?...

So I keep analyzing the minor incident from my Tobermory trip over and over in my head. The one where my dive buddy lost one of his intergrated weight pouches. My first instinct was to swim for the pouch since I was close to it while it was falling. When I think about it, should I have swam...

    Where to start??......U/W Photography

So now that I have had an 'official' dive trip, I would like to start snapping some momentos of upcoming dives. I dont want to spend a ton of $$ only to find out that its not what I thought it would be, but I would still like to show people pictures of what they are missing in the depths. I...

Thats only about 2 hours from my friends house in Port Huron. Are there any local charters out of Grand Bend that go out there for dives? Or do you have a boat that you took out there? After diving the Niagara II up in Tobermory, I would love to dive something else like it. An 'in-tact'...
