Rig diving seems kind of scary, isnt it for more experienced divers?

OK, I should say 5 dive TRIPS, per year. I got confused..

No, I just figure it would be too cold... I dont think I would have time to do more than 5 dives a year. I can do spring break and summer thats about it. I guess I might be able to get in multiple dives per trip though. Alabama has my closest fresh water diving (I believe)

How do you guys handle the winter months? I would think they would be a 6 month period were you couldnt dive... Personally I dont ever see me able to make more than 5 a year, unless I move to a costal area, or a place that has freshawater nearby.

Is it "X amount of dives per year"? Does the type of certification matter?

What do you "wear" under a wetsuit? This will help me decide to buy or just rent before my class. The whole "peeing" thing makes me want to buy though.. (I start diving classes next month) thanks for your help.

I am getting certified next month and wanted something to start out with. To learn my tables and such. I figure if and when the time comes, that I need a computer I will get one, but for now I am just looking for a good, reliable watch, preferably analog, preferably less than $300. Any...

Are these the guys who teach the NAUI course in town? or are you based out of sea urchins?

The diving bug has bitten me and I would like to dive some good places around my home area after getting certified. Anyone have a suggestion? good experience?

The diving class I am interested in requires: Booties, fins, snorkel, and mask. After certification what order do I need to buy the rest of my equpiment in?

There are two places in my town to get certified. One offers PADI, the other offers NAUI. What is the difference? I have read a good bit of negative things about PADI on the web and nothing about NAUI. The two poeple I know that dive, recomend the dive shop that offers PADI.
