I have the Ranger. Love it to death. Only sort of wish I'd bought a Transpac because I'm thinking of transitioning overy to a BP/W and could have used the Rec wing off the Transpac instead of having to buy a new wing. BUT: I'm probably going to get the classic wing with the BP/W anyway...

That's what I'm saying. For the most part I just try to keep nice, stepped profiles anway... but if it's one of those "down the anchor line then back up the anchor line" dives I'ma do half my depth, then maybe about half that (depending on just how deep we've been), then the 15 foot stop...

I can verify this. I've spoken with the folks at "The" Dive Shop and the quarry is, indeed, opening on the 3rd. Sorry that I can't go diving that day though. I was getting myself pretty psyched up for the 45 degrees promised... but, alas, I've got to work all weekend.
