    Modified ratio deco

This is fine and is reasonably conservative above about 210ft. For mix dives on CCR below ~210ft your CCR deco is going to be longer than the OC bailed deco - sometimes pretty radically longer.

DIR- Generic Marked stages filled with lower O2?

The only folks I see doing this are people practicing for a T1 class. In which case the stickers are just put on prematurely in a "look cool" sense. My preference would be to just leave the sticker off. But in reality, I haven't ever heard of this being an issue because the pre-T1 students only...

    Light Monkey - 10-24 LED w/ 10ah (2x 5ah) battery - user replaceable batteries?

Did you remove the outer oring between the disk and the canister wall? You need to pull exactly perpendicular to the disk to remove it

    Hideaway burned down today

Soggy waterlogged logs, barely floating on water, offshore, catch fire, in the wet season... to avoid the leaseholder having to tow them away and dispose of the environmental mess in a landfill where they belong. The owner should be in jail for arson, but its tough on fire investigators...

Screw lock for 100% oxygen, where to get?

Who cares about your set screw threads... this zytel part is basically nylon which is not certified for high pressure O2 either - even though it's in the lining of virtually every conventional scuba hose (not the braided types however). Good luck

    Dive Talk Go Rebreather

You should go back and re-read the Oxyhackers handbook. There is ample (dated but legit) information from NASA and/or the Navy about the increase in combustion events around 50% concentrations.

    Help on Canister for Heater/Light

What undergarment and hood are you using? The Santi full suit is about 100W so 2.25x the LM shirt. 44F ain't that cold lol.

    Kiss sidewinder 2

It's vaporware for sure. Not the only, nor likely to be the last, CCR that fails to launch.

Half-packing sorb -- Possible, or deadly?

For the love of god whyyyyy would DiveRite use a unique low IP solenoid like this when 145psi solenoids are a readily available thing which completely avoids creating all these "special" 1st stage situations. Cause what they heck are you going to do when that 1st fails days from civilization? I...

How long can you expose a scrubber to air?

Yes except from a practical perspective it's not reliable or very realistic to control for moisture content.

    Light Monkey - 10-24 LED w/ 10ah (2x 5ah) battery - user replaceable batteries?

Pull the inner oring between the disk and the canister then pull out that center plug in the disk Reach through the center plug hole with a hook and pull the disk straight out

I don't know what you consider accurate, but I would highly recommend you find better sources to trust.

    Dir Divers!!!

This is more of less what people actually do yes. I'm not convinced the ascents make anything "better" however

Equipment Tank explodes killing one - Mauritius

Not necessarily. There have been plenty of poorly maintained and rusty lp72s that have ruptured too

How to dry the inside of a wing put into storage?

I dont bother, rinse it out with fresh water and it's fine staying wet indefinitely.

    Exg Inflation Gas selector?

The suit is the redundancy for the wing and vice versa. It's actually better to not add 3, 4, 5 whatever contingencies, some of which can fail or cause issues in their own right (e.g. more hoses split or O-rings to leak). I know of multiple people who have died or went OOA twice and drowned...

Active hyperbaric chambers treating divers and staffing - travel divers need better information.

Instead of angrily claiming the list is incomplete, you could instead recognize that the USC facility isn't actually UHMS accredited. If you actually dove or trained anywhere around here, you'd know this already. It's discussed in every rescue course in Washington. And if you are on a boat in...

    Exg Inflation Gas selector?

Define "non-trivial" My rough estimate is that about 50% of my dil usage is in the wing and the rest is into the loop. So ~4cf on a typical 200ft dive. That's 15/55 dil so ~2.5cf of actual helium. $2 usd per dive for the wing to have redundant buoyancy and not having to fuss with multiple...
