    steel 72's for steel 120

I have 4 low pressure steel 72's that I would like to trade for 2 steel 120's or 130's either lp or hp (preferrably lp due to local compresser issues) I live in Arizona and would like it to be local if possible due to the shipping cost of steel tanks. All of the tanks have current hydro this...

    am I in trouble?

I have been certified for over 15 years and have done hundreds of dives. I used to log every dive I did for fun ( I am a divemaster and used to work for a shop but never logged those dives ) and then about 5 years ago my computor (where I kept my dive log on a microsoft excel file :admingreet:)...

    Sharing a Dive Computer

I can say that when I started diving I had no depth gauge or SPG or BCD, just a regulator backpack and a J-valve, so I will agree with the "is it possible yes is it preferable no" side of the argument here. we dove for years (and I am still alive) without the all of the "stuff" we have today...

    hot tub and diving?

I learned in several classes that hot tubbing after diving isn't a good idea. It makes sense that heating something would make the gas move out of solution easier. Over christmas vacation I went to "the crater" in Utah and dove in a hot spring that was 95 degrees at depth, what, if any...

    Firemen's breathing sets

what you saw was most likley an older model that had a low pressure hose to the facemask, and yes it did go to a regulator that reduced the pressure down. the newer ones are very simular to a scuba setup with a high pressure hose up to the facemask. the major difference between a fire SCBA and...
