Every year, on this day June 3rd on the anniversary of her accident in 2006 Kimber would post about surviving it, and not only surviving, but thriving is the word she used. Her daughter said some words today about that day her and her families lives changed forever .... 15 years flew by...

Silly, but I wanted to do this because she was the reason for this particular modification (1'4" plate protecting bottom of transmission pan, have yet to install it ) This came about from our trip exploring the Mojave Desert and finding ourselves in that boulder laden minefield :rofl3:

I remember that she was so kind to me at the memorial when Kimber passed. Marian and Dave's love for each other has always been so apparent, inspirational even , and both have been so kind to everyone they meet .. roll models for us all <3

My latest Kimber Story: I was talking to Kylia today and she was telling me the story of what was happening with Kimber's two power chairs, they were still in storage while she was looking for a good home for them ... her friend from her old church said they had a family that would be in need...

I don't know why I did not think of it in time for the Mars 2020 mission that just launched, but Kimber will be on the Mars 2026 mission that will go to the Perseverance rover's site and gather the samples it collects and return them to Earth I think she would enjoy the adventure to go to Mars...
