Oly has contrast based focus, you will get some hunting if there's little contrast in the pic. Have the Pm-1 underwater, and have no problems, but I also have a focus light to help with the focusing. Guess you have an external strobe? On the PM-1, the flash must be up, and is in fill - in mode...

My Fantasy nano focus light stopped working. Is there a shop who sells these or a similar type in Phuket? Or, since I also have a Big Blue dive light, some type of adapter for it fitting a YS mount? I'm staying in Kata until next Friday.

No, I think the pressure during my flight did it. Seems I have to take the O-ring out of my housng from now.... I try to leave the back cover on the housing partly open, but it must have closed this time. It came assembled from Zen.

Got the regulators back from Aqualung(SafeNor). Fully serviced and no charges... That's amazing service, thank you Aqualung! Reading the report was not fun....so yes, definately time for a new tech to do the service.... Cold water diagraphm was faulty installed, causing water to leak in...

We dive Dauin last in January, and will stay for 2 weeks next..Found both the muck diving along the beach, and the Apo island dives very nice, and will try to hone our photo skills this time.... And, maybe take some other day trips while we're there.

You are correct. The lens will hunt more to focus. If you only will shoot macro on the dive, choose the 0.19- 0.4 setting. You can also find settings on underwater photography. Com for the PEN cameras. And a focus light will help for focusing.

Regs are now shipped to SafeNor, which will bring it to Aqualung in France. They very interested in doing a check up. Outstanding service! SafeNor will also provide me with regs for our Asian vacation if the regs don't make it back from France before we leave... :-)
