@Marie13 Be interested to know what you learn. My socks are leaking in my suit on the last couple of dives after having the last liner replaced about a year ago. This liner was also made in Mexico.

It wasn't easy the first time I installed gloves. Maybe a friend with larger/stronger hands would be willing to help? No matter what gloves you use you will need to be able to stretch the orings over the rings.

I frequently blend with banked nitrox, typically 40%. Looking for a mode to calculate how 40 to add to the cylinder and then topping off with air to achieve a desired nitrox mix.

I seem to remember learning not to use silicone on drysuit seals because it causes issue with adhesive sticking when you glue in the replacement seals.

Trying to find the Big Blue light and the model I'm finding doesn't appear to be a canister, I've been able to find the other mentioned lights. Is there a canister version of the BB or is a non-canister primary acceptable for cave usage? Looking for a light with longer run-times for wreck...

Congratulations Marie. We were diving the Eber Ward on the same day almost at the same time. I was on the other boat that attached the 2nd buoy to the bow of the Ward. Glad you have enjoyed some the great diving in the Straights.

Watched it with a group of divers over the weekend and everyone enjoyed the movie. Great documentary. I also wondered about the highly available system failing, but I've seen enough edge cases cause redundant electronic systems to not fail over properly to not but surprised.

How long is line or the reel size on the Salvo primary? I'm guessing they came in similar sizes to the current Light Monkey reels that are available to hold 200', 400', 800' or 1200'.

My wife and I are going to be in the Bath, Maine area for a week at the beginning of July and wondering what opportunities there are for diving. My preference would be to do boat dives and to have a local guide since diving with large tides would be new to both of us.

Diving the Straights of Mackinaw you do hear the freighters when you are down on the wrecks, it is a very interesting bass line that is added to your dive. There are several wrecks that are close/in the shipping lanes so it is possible for a freighter to be very close while diving.

My understanding there was a manufacturing issue. The liner on my suit that I purchased in the spring of 2018 was replaced by Auqalung in the fall because both feet were leaking. The replacement liner has been dry and my feet are much happier.

Rolled up and clipped to BC or clipped in a pocket in case it would be needed on the surface. Take a regular snorkel when traveling to warm water locations in case a snorkel opportunity presents itself. I find snorkel with a purge valve preferable when just snorkeling.
