I recommend turning back and making mental notes of what you see every now and then. What you see going out is NOT what you'll see on the return. If you're getting within 30 feet of the line or the boat, pat yourself on the back for a job well done.....unless you're diving with 100 ft of...
After a few years of diving (~150 dives) in So Cal, I'm finally taking a trip to try warm waters. I'm heading to Grand Cayman first week of october. I'll be staying at Morritt's Tortuga Club resort for 7 nights.
Although I'm not a DIR diver, I do dive a Hogarthian set up incl long/short...
Due to weight and pressure, this is pick up ONLY.
PST 95 low pressure cylinder with boot and yoke valve. Hydro and visual were both done in March of this year. The tank hasn't been used since (I use my Faber 95). $175 firm. I'd post pics but using my phone and not home. PM me a number...
What store is it in? Honestly, selling things you don't have in your possession tends to raise flags online. Perhaps offer to provide your name (via PM if you wish), store name & phone number so it can all be verified? Considering you've been on this site for a few years probably not an issue...

I agree that a DM should be a strong swimmer. However, having to swim nearly a kilometer with fins on? I'd like to see the study that made them come up with that!! How about swimming 200 meters and finning 400 meters but reduce the time a bit? Better yet, eliminate the finning portion...
Did a test or two today...I knew they wouldn't be easy but my goodness!! I'm fast approaching 41 years old. I'd say I'm in moderate shape. I can still pass my military fitness test with a mid-high 80s score. Yet when I did the tests, it was pretty disappointing. I did the 100 meter tired...
In the name of fairness, I'll flip to the other side for a moment. Personally, 27 min isn't THAT long. I know it will seem long in a swell but if I have to wait that long but can see the boat didn't actually leave, I'm not stressing about it. Yeah, I might want the day comp'd but not be over...
I have a pair of DIN Legends (gold trim). You might have seen I have another regulator for sale (Scubapro) but now I'm debating which to keep. I'll offer these up as a doubles set and see which sells first. PM me a phone number and I'll text pics immediately but I'm using the phone to post...
Bump for photos. I've had several express interest pending photos so here they are!!! I'm sure most that would be interested knows what these cost so the price is firm (already a good deal). The scratches are on the plastic cup covering the port plugs. Everything else is extremely minor...
Great shape. Some scratches on black plastic but nothing major. Plastic just secures port plugs not being used. Most remove that piece anyway. Service was last year and will be due. Then again, I'd never dive a used reg without having it inspected/serviced anyway. I recommend anyone buying used...
