Hi all, Ive spent most of my week off doing some great diving here in South Fl.
All dives were with Gue trained Dir teams! We are getting a pretty good stock of like minded divers around here.
All dives had extended bottom times and depths in the Tech 1 range.
Sat. We dove the Dantor and...
I'm just the opposite, I feel flat with forward trim but in reality I'm nosing down a bit. Some people go as far as a mirror in the pool for this.
I just ask my teammates;)
Henry
I was wondering if you were going to show up;)
This should be my last post for a while, I'm in the middle of planning for Sat.Sundays Dives, then Monday on top of that.
See you on the boat!
Everyone have a good weekend!

Let me get this right..
Your diving in a manmade lake? And theres a lodge and other stuff in it?
How cool is that?
Sounds like the making of a dive trip if you ask me.
Henry
Exactly:
Experiences and experience are like gold around here.
As far as being tired of answering the noob questions thats a valid point and maybe more people will step up to the plate if the posters with other agendas are herded out of here.
I know a lot of Dir divers here in my area...
Hi Leah, so nice to hear about you and your "Divas" out doing some diving:D
Hopefully you'll find the help up there that you need. I travelled from 0 miles to 200 in order to dive with more experienced people, I'm in the south fl. area if you want to get together for an after work dive:11doh...
Ps I would say I'm very encouraged by the SC diver also:D
I've had some very patient Mentors here in South Fl who made all the
difference im my journey, Heres a shout out for them.

Fundies and T1
Mentoring is an excellent concept. I guess my point would be just that, just minus all the knee jerk reactions and non dir replies which the forum rules prohibit.

Since my original post went to hell in a handbasket I can now see that there are very few Dir divers here. There seems to be many people who want to attack and many people who want to defend, but the intent of the board to provide a valid conduit for Dir principles seems to have taken off down...
You can call Gue and ask them for available Instructors, they have a lot of new qualified Fundies people out there and plenty who are willing to travel.
A lot of Gue classes are also split now depending on the Instructor and will run over different weekends. I've done this because of my work...
So far so good!
I see some people waiting to take the Fundies and some who have and then some....
For those who have their pass/provisional congratulations, Its hard work and well worth it!
This is a great forum for anyone to ask questions, and enjoy the Dir community and best of all let...
Hi, just wondering from the content of some of the posts if most of the people here were actually Dir orientated divers.
It would be nice to see users accomplishments and goals as far as Dir training goes.

Ocean divers has nitrox fills also, they are located above Hyperbarics intl. on carribean dr.
Get ready for sticker shock though, walk in price for my double 80's was 31.00 :no
Hopefully everyone will chime in here with their fill prices so we can find the best deal.....
Just as a thought, if you post the Website or start another thread with contact #'s and such we might get enough people together to make the county aware of our plight and issue a variance on access:shakehead

Thanks for the reply Capt. We were actually moored to the wheelhouse. I just posted this as a longshot in case anyone sees a big black object staring at them from the bottom:D

I've been using the Sensus Ultra which is the latest model. The Software is not as slick as my Suunto downloads but it does work very well and is open architecture if someone wanted to improve upon it.
I always clip it in my pockets when I dive since I dont use the computer any more for...
Hi all, I tried posting this earlier but I must have hit the wrong key:D
I lost an Inon Wide angle lens on the Spiegel Grove on last Sundays Gue dive with Capt. Slates:huh:
The Dive was really great and losing the lens was a bit of a drag! If you know of someone who might of come...
Hi, just my 2 cents worth. My wife and I do a cruise every year in the carribean and would have to say that the Bahamas would be your best bet(its one of my favorites). If your on a cruise ship schedule you'll be safer using one of their shore excursions that time their dives with the ships...
