Along the same topic. If I do not plan on diving trimix, is there any reason either to upgrade, or not to? Are the air/nitrox algorithms the same? Does this upgrade change the level of conservativeness (made up word). Thanks, Jeff

4/05/2011 Vista point was nice this am, 56-58 degrees to about 50-70 ft or so with great visibility except around 40-50 feet where it dropped to just good. Lots of bass from about 15-20 feet and carp around 35-40. Jeff

I could not upgrade either. Actually the file I got from ScubaPro kept showing version 1.5. I requested they send it again and got the same file, and the version shows 1.5 after installation. Jeff

Sure! H2o temp 80 degrees,thermocline is at 85 feet and it is 75 degrees below that. Visibility isnt great. but the vis is still improving. Range of vis yesterday, 20-60 feet. You're welcome Jeff

My wife and I pack everything, we need to dive including extra mask and fin straps and a spare computer. We only use local lead and tanks.

Was just in Costa Rica a month or so ago. Went to the Arenal area and then a week in Guanacaste, near Playa de Coco. The diving was not great, but it WAS diving. We had a great time in Costa Rica, and would recommend it to just about anyone, just not for the diving exclusively. Jeff
