Try to ascend slower, and swallow often. Jeff

At their dive profiles and max depth of around 25 feet, there shouldnt be any stops, should there? I would guess they just went below the alarm threshold for remaining air @ depth. Probably sucking the bottle down. Jeff

I second the deburring tool listed above. No reason to mess around with sandpaper or scotch bright. Jeff

The shark dives are pretty cool, and not deep. My wife and I did one last year, and we were on the Ray of Hope wreck (I logged around 50 ft but i just logged it from memory, i didnt dive with a computer that day). It might not be natural or whatever, but it is cool. Jeff

Every time I see a Kauai post I recommend Bubbles Below. Not the nicest boat I have ever been on, but Linda and crew were among the best operators I have ever had the pleasure of diving with, knowlegeable, friendly, and never in a rush. You can dive to your air or ndl and the crew is super! Jeff

A 3mm shorty or no wetsuit is fine for me in hawaii, anytime I've been there. Some people like to dive in full 3's or 5's. Great diving in Kauai. You have a great time. I recommend Bubbles below. We have dove around the world, and the people there are top notch. Jeff

Diving and partying is probably better in Cozumel. I like to do other things on vacation, and I had a great time in Belize. I would guess Cozumel is cheaper too. They are both great places, just different. Jeff
