I don't have any experience in this but i recently read a post somewhere about pvc made underwater housings for camcorders. They used threaded end caps at both sides, one side glued tight. Maybe its possible to do the same with a smaller pvc tube? Here are some video links: YouTube - d.i.y...

No cracks on the o-ring. And it has this air-tight filling when you get the bezzel off. I think i'll just keep the o-ring and just lube it a bit with silicone grease. I'll also clean the threads etc with a toothbrush. But just for our infomation what size is the o-ring used? Can you just get it...

So... I bought a used SL4 a couple months ago, placed some fresh batteries into it and used it. Works just fine but its time to change the batteries and i have noticed that the o-ring is dry, as in "not lubed". I'm thinking of changing the o-ring just to be on the safe side. And here comes...
