Looks like most of the events are either in or in front of the Museum. The website isn't completely useless... although it is in Spanish only.

I've only been there once, but this story does not surprise me. And chilly, given the number of stories just like this one, I do think it's the AC operators, not necessarily ops from Belize City. Taking unqualified divers to this site seems to be the norm.
I have a friend with pretty severe food limitations, and he does well at "fancier" places where he can talk with the chef. Kinta and Sorrisi are accommodating, and he regularly eats at La Choza so must be able to work it out there as well.

I believe sharkdiver289 is the one with the performance requirements. Not public yet, although I had been told they would be made so about a week ago... Until they are, this is just coffee klatch.
I'm considering the RX-100 with Nauticam housing. I see several folks here use that system. Some of you have posted some wonderful photos!
Just wondering if there are any "I wish I had known" before you bought it? I understand the macro capability is somewhat limited, unless there's a diopter...
When we used to vacation on Cozumel, part of the attraction was the local food... just my opinion, but NOT going with an all-inclusive choice would expose you to much more of what the island has to offer. Both in terms of variety of local fare, and things you discover on your way to/from your...
Tech gear and snorkel don't normally go in the same sentence...
and I find it works okay. I keep it in my pocket and pull it out on the boat when there are unexpected dolphins or something. For teaching I use a "regular" snorkel.

Coco7, I'd say you'll get more (or at least as much!) use out of the Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving and the Diving Knowledge Workbook for pre-study than the divemaster manual itself...
