Been to both. One thing that I don't think has been mentioned is the lack of crowds at Roatan compared to Cozumel. The smaller group sizes at Roatan were nice. They have giant boats at Cozumel that hold 20+ divers. When one of those things dumps a megagroup of divers it's no fun wasting bottom...

I would describe it as a 6" wide sessile animal shaped like a pouch. I took this photo in the PCB area a few days ago. Does anyone have any idea what it is?

It depends on where you go, your build, and sensitivity to cold if you will really need it or not. The deepest parts (~55 feet) of CSSP are in the 40sF even in the Summer. If you own one I'd bring it just in case.

If I remember correctly here is the exact entrance on Google maps. A little blurry but I can read "Marietta Landing" on the sign.

One nice thing about Lake Murray is there's no entrance fee.
