After getting an estimate from a moving company, one of things that was discussed was how moving most of the weights (and anything else) from the basement to the garage could save a nice chunk of change. Taking that as a nice workout challenge, I hauled all my weights to the garage...

I've been trying to "prep" my feet to get ready to use them. Penny said she owes me a pair for my birthday. One guy at the gym was even doing Olympic weightlifting in them. I'd like to try them for hikes on wooded (non-paved) trails.

I've been hobbled the past two days. Been doing my barbell and kettlebell lifting barefoot and I think the new stress has gotten to my left foot. Very strained and the throbbing has woken me up in the middle of the night the past two. Last night was rough.... not so bad when...

Ouch!! Hope it's just a bit tender and not damaged. Aside from aleve or something, you might consider a few fish oil capsules a day to deal with the inflammation.... just a thought.
Doesn't Jim have a PADI Cave Instructor card from last century when PADI was involved with Cave training? IIRC, that's what he showed us at Little River a couple of years ago... gotta love history!!
We got a call last night that the owner of a "fixer upper" accepted our bid! We now have a new expensive "hobby". We close and move out of our condo on May 17th and it looks like we'll be doing the same on the new place. Not sure what we got ourselves into though! LOL
