    Seasoft Seavue Spray?

Now wouldn't that make things incredibly efficient? And to make it even better, why don't we limit the allowed answers to yes or no? Original question was 'Anybody use this?' - closed-ended question./sarcasm

    Seasoft Seavue Spray?

Spitting works perfectly fine. Just make sure the glass is dry before you spit on it, rub it across the glass with your fingertips, give it a minute to dry a bit and then rinse with the water you're diving in (don't rub with your fingers again, just rinse). Gross? Yeah, maybe a little, but it...

    Problem with back-inflate bcd

It worked! Ankles crossed, right hand firmly around the shoulder strap an breathed as Imla suggested. I steadily went down. No stopping - first breath taken at roughly 12ft (inhaled quickly, exhaled slowly) - no significant slowing down of my descent (the bottom of our diving pool at 15ft did...

    Sneezing

One of my trainers told me once that coughing under water should be avoided since it might lead to air entrapments in the lung which later on when ascending can cause lung barotrauma. I'm not a doctor so I don't know if that's true or not, but if it is, sneezing probably isn't any better. Maybe...

    Problem with back-inflate bcd

    Most definitely:beerchug:

    Problem with back-inflate bcd

First of all thanks for all those helpful informations! I'm having no problems with buoyancy as soon as I once was below 12 ft. After that I can easily keep level even at 6 ft and go back down from there without any difficulty. Being able to control buoyancy during the dive that easy was the...

    Problem with back-inflate bcd

There goes the Zeagle then... Fortunately I can still return it ;)

    Problem with back-inflate bcd

Well, that was my initial guess, too, so I was wondering if there is kind of a special move I can make in order to get rid of any trapped air. So Might help already. For sure will give it a try. Should I go for a different BC then, or is this just a matter of proper training?

    Problem with back-inflate bcd

Thanks a bunch RJB, this too is very helpful information! I figured it probably makes sense to do some more pool sessions in order to get this straight using your method. Even if I'm starting overweighted and go down like a rock at least I won't stir up any soil when hitting the bottom ;) This...

    Problem with back-inflate bcd

Since that (stride) is my main way to get into the water, that's one more thing I will check. Thanks mate :)

    Problem with back-inflate bcd

But if I were underweighted and it shows already right at the beginning of the dive, wouldn't I have more and more problems the longer the dive takes and especially towards the end shoot into orbit like a missile?

    Problem with back-inflate bcd

I learned, that with almost empty cylinder, completely deflated bc and halfway filled lungs I should float with the water surface at eyelevel. Exhaling then should start my descent. This is pretty much given, my descent is slow then, though. But you are totally right with that breath I might...

    Problem with back-inflate bcd

I had the chance to dive a Zeagle 911 for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Right away I fell in love with the concept and bought one. I'm still struggeling with one thing, though. To start my descent from the surface, I'm upright in the water left shoulder a little higher the right one...

    What to expect when equalising?

And make sure, you haven't swallowed some water shortly before equalizing. My girl did that the other day and ended up with a bruised eardrum and water in her middle ear. She had trouble with her water-nose-reflex after taking her mask of during training, choked some water and then equalized...
