Dumped on by Diving Companies Again

I agree with the orginal posting. I feel dumped on by Dacor/Mares becase I have a reg that isn't very old and can't get parts for it. My solution: I'LL NEVER BUY DACOR OR MARES AGAIN. my 2 cents

First impressions of UK C8eLED (short, very short)

This is the best non-HID/non-canister light I have ever seen. This thing rocks. Dive was about 60' in a cold, dark quarry. Vis about 10. Flipped the switch and it lit up my world. From playing with it in the house, I thought it was focused too wide. However, in the water it gave a good...

    Mermet Dog days

They always have a good selection of men's and women's sizes. First couple of years we did it, my son was too small for any of the men's suits; they just put him in a woman's size, and we were good to go. As Mike said, the dives are guided with a DM/instructor taking very small group of...

    IANTD or SSI ?

I did the IANTD nitrox and sat in on my son's SSI class. While both classes covered the needed material, the iantd class was a bit harder in that it required more mathmatical calculations than the ssi course. Either will be fine, but I would lean toward the iantd class if you have any plans of...

who are your favorite NC dive boat operator

Another vote for the Diver Down. Bobby leaves a bit earlier than the other shops getting you to the sites first. He allows EXTENDED safety stops.
