    OMS vs Pst?

"The only thing I'm not crazy about on OMS is the external paint. I wish they came unpainted with a clear finish but it doesn't look like they do; Oh well!" BATTLESHIP GRAY BABY.... You gotta love it!!!! :jester:

    OMS vs Pst?

The upside of my OMS tanks (125's) are their durability (they have been through a war and show NO SIGNS of rust) the downside is the HUGE swing to neutral (or whatever) they make when they empty..... I just look for a good tank and get used to diving it.... some of this stuff seems like we may...

New to diving looking for new fins

Test driving the fins is good advice, any good shop should let you.... I like my quattros but I like my blades as well (and they are a little cheaper).... Jet fins are okay but they always feel clunky to me..... try some aqualung blades, you wont be sorry!

    Henderson Polyolefin or Microprene??

For the money the microprene beats the skins hands down.....

    Henderson Microprene

I love my .5mm microprene... it is comfortable, cheap and very warm for it's thickness... It looks rough from chlorine but it still works! Recently (2 weeks ago) I broke the Zipper on it, I sent it back to henderson and they replaced the entire zipper and had it back to me today! I am VERY happy...

    What computer do you own...?

I own a wrist mount spyder (converted to a stinger Paid $200 for the computer and $200 for the upgrade) and a wrist mounted Vyper (best damn computer on the market).. I paid $360 for the Vyper (teal) from my LDS about 1 year ago... bought the spyder used and had it upgraded in October (I use it...

    Zeagle Ranger

Okay, Okay.... BP and wings are more comfortable and flexible... enough said, but I am talking about BC's from a general perspective... a newbie diver would not want a BP and wings so He or she will buy a traditional rec bc and when they do that I feel that the ranger is their best...

    Zeagle Ranger

Halcyon makes nice BP's but the ranger is a tough no-nonsense type of BC for an Avid recreational diver..... I think the limited edition is made to sell all of the other extras zeagle has in its line (some are nice extras) I still love the ranger.. its a great BC =-)

    Apeks TX40

The first stages are the same but the second stage of the 40 seems a little light to me... maybe thats just the missing adjustments though! Zeagle Flathead 6 is a nice reg also!

    Zeagle Ranger

I think a new diver should buy a integrated system don't you? I like my back plate and wings but if I am diving a single cylinder I have my ranger on.. always! The zeagle gives you alot of unique features and that lends itself to being quite versatile.... I mount my doubles on my plate.......

    Come on down

I'll see if I can talk to them when I'm down there in April... Like I said the best I've used down here so far has been Seaduced-n-sea (Capt. Dennis McKee) They dive wrecks and are big time spear fisherman (I am gonna learn that this summer, I'm determined!).. How's the diving in Texas? Done any...

    Come on down

I'm in North Carolina and the wrecks here are warm, clear and DEEP! As far as charters go, I use Discovery Diving out of Beaufort most of the time becuase they seem to go out when other boats stay in (their fairly well priced as well). Olympus is the "big name" and they do a good job (great...
