    Peregrine Silicone Cover

I get that. Mine was an Oceanic SPG/Comp/Compass console in 2004. Cost about $350 Now the peregrine was $510 my itself, kinda protective of it...

    Peregrine Silicone Cover

When I bought it I was thinking not needed. In SW I do hunt, fish & lobsters. But if I reach in a hole I'm most like to do that with my right hand & wear it on my left, so it seems the risk to it is minimal. But then you never know... It's $40, not a ton of cash, just wondering if it's really...

    Peregrine Silicone Cover

Anyone bother using one? If so, do you remove it for rinsing the comp after SW dives?

Can't Get Peregrine to Sync with Subsurface

If I wasn't clear, it was the same with the phone (android, samsung S21) - don't sync via bluetooth, just open the app & tell it to connect to the comp

Can't Get Peregrine to Sync with Subsurface

Yes. I didn't get it to pair using the control panel. Just ran the app & the app could see it.

    Shearwater transmitter failure

My first time diving with someone using AI was during my nitrox class dives, I think 2004. I buddied with a guy in my class who used one. I think it was scubapro, though the brand doesn't matter & not what grabbed me. We geared up & got ready to dive & his transmitter wouldn't sync. he had no...

    Bought a Peregrine

I'm sad to report that it remains dry. We've been plagued by a stormy summer, ever week for over 2 months has been stormy/rainy, often daily. Fortunately not serious, nothing like a tropical storm, but lots of rain & thunderstorms. The peregrine still shows a full battery. le sigh

    Bought a Peregrine

This^ My Oceanic had audible alerts. Mostly I could never hear them. Sometimes I can hear them from other peoples comps but no idea who's or what for. I'm hoping the tactile alerts are more noticeable for me. It's still dry though. We keep having storms around here...

    Bought a Peregrine

From the manual: The Shearwater Peregrine charges wirelessly when mounted on the included dock and on some third party wireless Qi compliant chargers.

    Bought a Peregrine

It's approximately 2" and very clear. Out of the water I'm real impressed with it & don't expect to have any problems reading it in water. I have strong astigmatism but do not have corrective lenses in my mask. I still find that UW I can see clear enough without it, but it still helps to have a...

    Bought a Peregrine

Unfortunately I have not dove it yet. I did see a thread where someone reported poor battery charge life. I just checked mine, it's been 29 days & it still has a full charge on it.

    Bought a Peregrine

1st dice comp I used was a loaner Aqualung that they had on the boat. It was the ultimate warm puppy LOL I bought an Oceanic & that lasted until last year. Friend mentioned the peregrine & after watching some reviews I decided I liked it enough to spend that cash Really like the UI on it. I've...

Can't Get Peregrine to Sync with Subsurface

FWIW, when I bought my peregrine it would not pair with either my win 11 PC or my android phone. In the shearwater cloud app I just told it to connect & it did. But not as a BT device in the control panel

    Shearwater Cloud Updates Fail

Since people seem to generally dislike this app for logs, what do people prefer? I'm a windows/andoid user, not apple
